I have to tell you about a recent experience we had at our local market. I was simply floored at the clerks thoughtfulness.

My husband and I are loyal consumers, when someone treats us right, we will make every effort to spend our money where it is most deserved. We are also very choosy about what we drink. I am a die hard Pepsi fan – have been since my youth.

Shawn likes to experiment, mixing his drinks and trying out new items from time to time. Well I had no idea what I was starting when I brought home a couple of bottles of D’Peach Mode by Jones Naturals. I had bought the last of the D’Peach Mode on the store shelf, no big deal. Right? Wrong!

Shawn went nuts over the drink and proclaimed it his ultimate favorite. So, back to the store we went, again and again. We checked religiously for over two months. After a couple weeks, we started checking the local store shelves for more. No one carried this item, so we talked to a clerk at the Twain Harte Market to see when they planned to order more.

We were informed that the person who handles the ordering in that section had been injured and was off work during that time. Shawn was excited when he finally returned to work and they got more of his D’Peach Mode in stock. He was so overjoyed that he purchased every bottle they had. When we checked out we inquired about purchasing it by the case.

On our very next visit the clerk ran us down in the vegetable aisle, she whispered to Shawn, I found a case of D’Peach Mode in the back and I set it aside for you, if you want it. You could have knocked us both down with a feather because we had just checked the soda aisle and not a single bottle could be found.

Needless to say, we purchased the case of Jones Naturals D’Peach Mode, thanked the clerk profusely and made a lifelong friend in the process. It’s clerks like this that make shopping a pleasure and worth making a trip to the market.
