I am totally disgusted with Meijer in Three Rivers, and will be happy when Walmart opens up because as far as I am concerned I will not trade there any more.
I took back two shirts that my husband bought for me, and they did not fit me right, so I went to exchange them. I did not have a receipt, but all the tags were still in place. He had just bought them the same week. They said that I had to get the same shirts, long sleeve, and they had to be Fall Creek.
What bull crap. I didn’t even like the shirts, and was forced to buy what I did not like. That is just wrong.
If I paid $6.99 for each shirt, then I should have been able to purchase any shirt I wanted as long as it was the same price, unless I wanted to add more money, but no, it had to be something I did not even want. I am so angry that they can tell me what I have to wear, with my own money.
They have just lost a good customer, who spent a lot of money there each week. So long Meijer, and hello Walmart.

Dear Sandra,
I can sympathize with your feelings of anger toward Meijer. However, they aren’t totally without justification. After years of being scammed by rip-off artists, stores have had to start fighting back, in an effort to stay in business.
The lesson learned here should be – always keep your receipts. Most stores will happily refund your money on an unwise or ill-fitting purchase – if you have your receipt in hand.
I’m afraid you will find any perceived relief, short-lived when your local Walmart opens. Their low-quality merchandise is a quick turn-off. You will find many irritated Walmart shoppers here on Retail Bandit.
