Dear Sandra,

I can sympathize with your feelings of anger toward Meijer. However, they aren't totally without justification. After years of being scammed by rip-off artists, stores have had to start fighting back, in an effort to stay in business.

The lesson learned here should be - always keep your receipts. Most stores will happily refund your money on an unwise or ill-fitting purchase - if you have your receipt in hand.

I'm afraid you will find any perceived relief, short-lived when your local Walmart opens. Their low-quality merchandise is a quick turn-off. You will find many irritated Walmart shoppers here on Retail Bandit.
