Dear Linda,

I can totally understand your frustration but I can't say it enough... Save your Receipts!

It is very easy to remove a sale sticker, the store has no way of knowing how much you actually paid, unless you present your receipt. You really can't blame them.

Get yourself a large envelope and put all your receipts in it everytime you shop. It will be a pain to sort through but will save you loads of frustration. We make it a habit to save every single receipt from every single purchase we make.

As for selling items that have been mismarked. They are required to sell it as marked, unless they have reason to believe you are trying to commit fraud. You can make a complaint with Wal-mart's corporate office, if that does produce results -- and it probably won't, you can file a complaint with the Oregon State Attorney General's office.

You might also consider finding some where else to shop. If you do, be sure to let Wal-mart know that you will no longer shop there and why!

Thank you for writing.
