Just today, I went to Meijer and they had a hanging display of Kodak film 200 speed, 4 rolls for $5.96, however they were stamped with price of $6.18. I assumed they were on “sale”. They scanned at $6.18 and I took my receipt to the customer service area for a refund, plus the 10 times the error of $.22.
Customer service said that the merchandise was not on “sale”. The store manager was called and he checked out the sign that I saw and brought it to show me that the sale ended 3 days ago. He would not give me the 10 times the error amount stating he did not have to, because that was a human error and the law does not apply to human error.
Sorry, but aren’t all errors human? Meijers is on my bad list and I would encourage all to avoid their attitude by avoiding their stores. Everytime that I go there, they over charge me or gyp me in some way…
Thanks for listening.
