There is no law that requires a store to provide you credit of the difference of the price you paid and the new sale price.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;However, most stores will issue a refund of the difference or provide store credit for up to two-weeks.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;After checking JCPenney&#039;s website I see that most items sold have a 90-return policy, there are exceptions of course. So, if the refuse to give you credit for the difference, you can opt to simply return the item and re-purchase if you so desire.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Remember while shopping over the holidays to save those receipts.</description>
