Did you know California Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill banning microbeads. Hurrah for us.  Apparently, they have been putting little plastic beads in personal care items, no one told me. I’m having a really hard time wrapping my mind around this one.  We have been begging them to ban GMO’s or at the very least, label […]

The bottom line is you do what you can with what you’ve got to work with. You have to start somewhere or end up in the hospital. That’s really the only choice you have, as I see it.

Like you, I too am worried about my family. I worry that they aren’t getting enough vitamins. I worry they will get cancer, so I try to buy organic, no hormones — pure food — but it’s impossible. I feel like a total failure, but I swear I’m not giving up.

Of course, today’s pizza looks a lot different than the ones I used to make. Today, I use a pizza stone, instead of an 11″ x 17″ pan. I like to mix the pizza sauce, salsa and refried beans.

6-months ago I knew about genetically modified organisms (GMO’s) but I really didn’t care one way or the other. I’ve spent a little time each day learning more about GMO’s and the consequences. What I’ve found just keeps getting worse and worse…

No, I haven’t forgotten about Retail Bandit, I’ve just been spending too much time on updating a few of my other websites. I’ll try to be better. I do have some good news for those with an interest in the whole GMO issue. The new Weston A. Price Chapter on the San Juan Ridge will hold […]
